Social Equity Funds

Dear Joel,

I've come up with a solution for the Edwards and 9th street Delma.  The whole neighborhood would benefit from a fence on this block, but no one wants to pay for it themselves right? Here's what I suggest:

Start a 'Social Equity Fund' through Amity Bank. Have everyone on the block deposit portions of their savings and retirements to be managed by the fund. The interest accumulated will be designated to pay for the fence and all principles returned or carried over into another social project once complete.
